Selenite

Selenite is a calming crystal that instils peace and is an excellent stone for meditation. Holding a piece of Selenite in the hand is said to help drain any negative energy from the body while a large piece of Selenite placed in the house is said to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.

Selenite cleanses and charges other crystals, using a charging plate, selenite bowl or placing a piece of Selenite next to crystals will clear them of any built up negative energies and revitalise them.

Selenite can be brittle and may dissolve when wet. It is therefore advisable to use a method of crystal cleansing that doesn't involve water.
